The Golden Hour Gathering was an event hosted by Rebecca Bunn & April Kelly, Co-Hosts of the BFFx Podcast. This event brought women together for an evening rooted in connection, creativity, and growth.
During this BFFx Event, the women business owners presented their business ideas and competed for funding to support their next steps. BFFx sponsored $1,500.00 in business start-up funding, while Influx Community Cares Foundation was able to sponsor $700.00 in business start-up funding. There were a total of 5-Winners and each of them left with capital to start, grow, and build their small businesses.
Events like this matter in Eastern North Carolina, where women-owned businesses continue to grow but often face limited access to capital. Pitch competitions paired with real funding help turn ideas into action and build confidence among emerging entrepreneurs.
Beyond the competition, the gathering created space for meaningful networking, collaboration, and shared learning. Conversations extended beyond introductions and focused on resources, support, and community.
We thank BFFxPodcast for hosting a powerful experience and for creating a platform that uplifts women builders across the region.
Supporting entrepreneurship is one of the ways ICCF helps strengthen families and local economies throughout Greenville and Pitt County.
